Also, $\mathrm{DCFL\subseteq DTIME}(n)$ (and $\mathrm{CFL\subseteq NTIME}(n)$) is essentially trivial from the definition: a DPDA consumes each input letter in $O(1)$ time, hence it runs in $O(n)$ time in total. | |
