I am naive to computer networks. I studied bit stuffing protocol which helps in identifying the end of the frame. If we assume a two systems which use ethernet protocol at data link layer. How the end of the frame delimiter is shared with other system? In ethernet frame format bit stuffing used on data. In that frames header part there is a field SFD which is only to synchronize the systems before communication. But how the receiver knows there is no more data to receive?
