Consider a home network. Say three computers, a network printer and an internet connection. The three computers and the network printer will use the router to communicate with each other.

I am thinking that the size of the router's forwarding table will have less than 10 entries in it. Am I right about that?

$\begingroup$ you will need one entry for each device in your network, and one for routing outside $\endgroup$
