I don't currently post answers to questions on SE. The reason is that the Powers have shown some huge degree of carelessness about the users, they have been intentionally hiding their reasons for recent changes, and they changes they had introduced make the site (1) difficult to use and (2) ugly. Some more information can be found at Boycott this site until and unless the old look is restored! by Mico.
