Hey everyone!
My name's kyle and I'm a junior computer science major at Washington State University - gO COuUgs! - and look forward to being apart of the StackExchange community! I think it's awesome how you can both simultaneously send and receive meaningful, mostly accurate (thanks mods!) information here - I used to just be a bystander here; however, I think it's time for that to change. I'm sure that as I progress in my coursework that I'll become a valuable member here somehow!
So, we know why I'm here, but who am I? We've covered the fact that I'm a university student, but wait there's more! Why am I sounding like a salesman here - I promise you, I'm not!
Currently I'm pretty interested in the whole AI boom and want to be apart of that too. The first time I used chatGPT I was both shocked and amazed about the progress we've [well not we; some of you I'm sure! Maybe I use that word too liberally.] made! Although the information is a little inaccurate at times, it's pretty amazing how you can ask whatever question you can think of to this machine. After I finish all of my remaining years of school to attempt a masters, I want to be apart of this revolution of technology we have here - from where I sit, I think the possibilities are limitless!
All of this sounds like a lofty goal - you know, to work on world altering technology - but I think that I'm looking too far ahead in the future. Sometimes it's best just to look at the next step that you're going to take, but without some long-term, lofty goal, how do you know what steps to take?
