I am a PhD student at the ECEO lab at EPFL, Switzerland. I focus on applying machine learning to satellite images for monitoring, explaining and predicting tropical deforestation of rainforests.

My professional/academic interests mostly revolve around applying geoinformatics, remote sensing and machine learning for humanitarian help or for environmental purposes.
